I spent my career inside buy-side operations —
asset management, alternatives, and the order management system the industry runs on. Now I design the tools I spent it working around.
I spent 15 years in institutional finance across trading operations, risk management, and buy-side technology. Working inside hedge funds and later supporting asset managers on Bloomberg's order management system meant navigating complex workflows across trading desks, counterparties, product, and engineering. I saw firsthand where financial software worked—and where critical processes still fell back to spreadsheets, email, and manual checks.
Now I design and build products for those kinds of complex environments, with a focus on fintech, AI-assisted workflows, and tools where clarity and human judgment matter.
I'm also an artist, working across mediums on family, culture, and history. OOJOO Studios is my independent studio. It is multi-faceted in its infancy: product design, advocacy and archival work, and curated objects and experiences. I'm expanding to work with artists whose stories are like mine, from the Korean diaspora and elsewhere, and to amplify them.

Recently, I started hosting a Korean card game night in the Bay Area with close friends. Inspired to carry on Korean cultural traditions, I started GoStop Club to foster community.
